Physical description: Slim build but somewhat fit.

Abilities/Skills: Telempath (just discovered so actual skills will have to come with the rp.) Power to read emotions, and communicate with others via emotions.

Empath with the following abilities:

Can sense others emotions.

Can send out by communicate via emotions by projection and receive them from others that use simliar abilities

Can perceive what others think and feel.

Can cause effect by projecting their emotions such as love, anger, hate, happiness and others once they have used this long enough.

A Telempath has certain limitations:

Can not read emotions of one who uses Apathy.

Can have headaches which can be caused by overload of emotions if he or she has not learned how to control this issue.

Since this sort of Empath has a bit of telepathic skills and can have some of those limits as well:

Not able to go past a certain range (feet, miles).

Limited to one target at a time.

Problems of tuning out emotions.

Being overwhelmed by a lot of emotions.

Can not work with mindless targets like robots, computers, animated objects, the dead.

May not be able to read those with the Psychic Shield.

Back history:

Spent her entire life on the south end of the city where the poor lived. Gangs were always prevalent as were several different types of crimes. Gang members were also a lot of the problems that went on in the south end. Schools on the south end received just enough money to slightly educate the kids that lived there. This was where her life was. SHe was the daughter of Jeannie Denver Platt and Henry Platt. Jeannie, her mother, was a stay at home mother and her father, Henry, worked outside the home. Early life was good though her father had wanted a son over a daughter. He never told them much about his jobs, his pay, or anything else to do with finances. He always paid the bills himself and took care of the taxes. Until she hit middle school and junior high life with her father was not bad but he made the laws of the family and stuck to them. At junior high, her father started to act more rigid and even his demeanor was standoffish. That was also when he really pulled things tight for them. She went to school and home. No other activities were allowed, she had to be in a bit before dark, and she was not allowed to date early. Growing up she would go spend a month with her mother's sister in Texas that was married into a well to do Texas family until her father stopped all contact two years ago with letters and phone calls. Over a year ago, she started to have anxiety and when taken to the clinic to see the doctor, he determined she had anxiety and gave her a prescription for it. All the pills did was make her sleep but at her dad's insistence was to take them when he was around. Recently, she had enough as did her mother who tried to get Henry to see that the pills did nothing for Ala. The fight grew out of control with yelling. At this point a bad migraine like headache hit her. Ala grabbed a coat and hat and left out the window and down the fire escape. She found her way to the good side of town and the Foundation unknown to her. Dorian Saint helped her out taking her in and thereby; she met Dr. Kendrick who has begun to help her with her ability of Empathy.
